Online Ornithological Newsletters: Issue #8 (Colorado)

The purpose of this weekly series is to provide links to the online newsletters of local, State, Provincial, and national Audubon societies, bird clubs, bird conservation organizations, bird observatories, and ornithological societies of the United States and Canada. Chukar Chatter (newsletter of the Grand Valley Audubon Society, Grand Junction) - Only the most recent issue is currently available online in .htm format: February-March 2007 (Volume 36, Number 4).

On the Wing (newsletter of the Boulder County Audubon Society, Boulder) - Issued 5-6 times/year. 17 issues currently available online; earliest: January 2004 (Volume 34, Number 1). The mast-head features a stylized Osprey in flight.

Ptarmigan (newsletter of the Fort Collins Audubon Society, Fort Collins) - Issued 8 times/year. 54 issues are currently available online in .htm or .pdf format; earliest: November 1999 (Volume 30, Number 3). The mast-head features two White-tailed Ptarmigan, one each in summer and winter plumage.

Ripples on the Pond (newsletter of the Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge Preservation Association) - Issued 1-2 times/year. 10 issues are currently available online in .html format; earliest: March 1997; latest: March 2003.

Roaring Fork Raptor (newsletter of the Roaring Fork Audubon Society, Carbondale) - Issued 6 times/year. Only the most recent issue is currently available online: November-December 2006 (Volume 10, Number 2).
