This Brewery Is for the Birds
The Mendocino Brewing Company (check out their animated introduction) names all of its beers for birds (see labels). Now how can any red-blooded American birder resist that temptation?

I don't even like beer, but I think I would just have to get some of the Blue Heron pale ale and the Peregrine ale.
That's cool...birding festivals should ask them to be sponsors!
I think asking breweries that manufacture bird-label products to sponsor birding festivals is a great idea. It would attract a certain segment of the public that might otherwise not feel compelled to attend such an event. Some organizers of these events might consider such an association to be somewhat unsavory, but if handled properly it could be very positive for both sides.
