Birds Reported from West Virginia in March 2006

A nominal 124 species were reported by subscribers to the WV-Bird listserv in March 2006. Unless otherwise noted, species are presumed to have been present the entire month (parenthetical notes include first and last dates, singular observervations, high counts, etc.):

Edits of 05/10/2006: Red-necked Grebe deleted (there have been no reports to date in 2006) and Savannah Sparrow added. The number of species reported in April 2006 remains unchanged at 124.

Edit of 06/01/2006: American Pipit was omitted from the original list. Addition of this species brings the number of species reported in April 2006 to 125.
