Bald Eagle Nest Cam Goes High Tech

As described in this press release, the Fish and Wildlife Service’s National Conservation Training Center is collaborating with the Erma Ora Byrd Center for Education Technology (named in honor of the late wife of West Virginia Senator Robert E. Byrd) at Wheeling Jesuit University to provide streaming video of a Bald Eagle nest (which I previously discussed) in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The eagle cam Web site now includes a link to streaming video (available 11 AM to 7 PM EST, Monday through Friday). The adults are now caring for three (3) very active nestlings!
