The December 2002 issue of National Geographic Magazine contains a wonderful article on Snowy Owls, with excellent text by Lynn Warren and incredible photographs by Daniel J. Cox. One bird fitted with a transmitter 800 miles in 11 days, another 1,800 miles in 40 days!
