Bird Flu Wackiness

This article by J. Grant Swank, Jr., in the Post Chronicle is undoubtedly the most bizarre of the innumerable accounts that I’ve read to date on the avian influenza threat. Swank presents a decidedly Evangelical Christian slant on bird flu. He goes so far as to suggest that a bird flu pandemic would be the "pestilence" prophesied to occur in the End Times, and laments that many clergy "are not taking advantage of presenting to their listeners the biblical predictions as related to End Times, bird flu especially."
