Back in the Fold
A year is way too long to be out of touch, but so easy to do. In my case, it involved five hard months at work in an unsuccessful effort to authorize control of Mute Swans causing depredation problems along the Atlantic Coast (more on that later), a one-month vacationing in Alaska to visit our daughter and four grandchildren (including two new twin girls), discovery of (and immersion in) the fascinating wikipedia project, plus a variety of family obligations. I've developed a greater appreciation for those individuals who are able to produce useful, intelligible, and insightful blog entries on a weekly and even daily basis. Where do they find the time? Here's my pledge to make an honest effort to make regular contributions to this blog.
